$2.6 Million Jury Verdict for Injured Client

Justin High, co-founder of High and Younes LLC, a growing law firm in Omaha, Nebraska, and his co-counsel have won a $2.6 million dollar jury verdict for a medical professional who had been severely hurt in an auto accident.
Through no fault of her own, a Lincoln, Nebraska radiological technician was severely injured in a car crash. The insurance company tried to force a low-ball settlement that did not take into account the extent of the injuries and long-term impact to the injured party. It was obvious the insurance company was not acting in good faith so the decision was made to take the case to a jury trial.
Justin and his team presented the facts of the case to the jury and it became apparent to the jurors the original offer of a $30,000 settlement was absurdly low given the full extent of physical, emotional, financial and the lasting impact of the plaintiff’s injuries. Upon much deliberation, the jury decided the case was worth $2.6 million and returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff.
The successful outcome of this case is one of the many reasons High and Younes LLC has been on an upward business trajectory. By putting their clients first and above all else, they get the results that deserving clients need. Although this particular person will never be the same as a result of her injuries, at least the worry of financial hardship has been removed.
